  • Fossil (Paleo) placers in Quartz pebble conglomerates (river bar and beach gravels) have long been THE LARGEST SOURCE OF GOLD ON EARTH.
  •

  • The Witwatersrand (the top half of the image below is ore from the Ventersdorp reef of South Africa) and the slightly younger paleoplacer fields of Ghana and Brazil have PRODUCED OVER 60+% OF ALL THE GOLD ON THIS PLANET!
  •

  • The Dean of South African geologists D.A Pretorius in the 1980 Journal of Economic Geology identified Nova Scotia as having ALL the critical elements found in these world class fields.

  • Pretorius in the 1980 Journal of Economic Geology gave some attention to the Gay’s River Goldmine at Coldstream (60 km due east of Castle Frederick) where Placer Dome mining concentrated an exploration program the following year.
  •

  • True Metallic Explorations Inc. (TME) is a private junior explorer which is focused on a fossil placer Gold project in Nova Scotia, Canada. This exploration project is an innovative application of conventional geological, paleontological, geophysical, and geochemical techniques that has lead TME to focus its activities on an area that has the potential to deliver large-scale success. The company’s management has a strong background in exploration and development success. Its flagship is the Castle Frederick Paleoplacer project, located in Hants County, near the town of Windsor.
  •

  • The host horizon was post Devonian Horton Bluff Formation. The lower half of the image above is this gold bearing Horton rock obtained at surface in the Castle Frederick concessions. It is identical in age and composition as the ore mined at Gays River. Its composition holds a Rawdon Mount Uniacke origin fingerprints. It is this that is the proof needed to confirm that this is the right place to hunt for and expect elephants in elephant country.
